An accomplished percussionist and music educator, Alex DiFabio graduated with honors from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Music in Music Education as well as his Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance. Before attending WCU, Alex was a dedicated member of the Westfield High School music community and held leadership positions in a diverse array of ensembles including the WHS Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Choir, and Orchestra. Alex’s tireless work ethic and exceptional musical ability also earned him spots in New Jersey’s highly competitive All-State Wind Ensemble and All-State Orchestra. Committed to further developing his musical and educational skills at the undergraduate level, Alex went on to participate in West Chester University’s Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Steel Pan Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band.
From performances at New York City’s Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall to teaching and providing percussion masterclasses at local schools, Alex’s musical accomplishments have cemented his desire to pursue a career in performance as well as in education, and to foster this same appreciation for music in new and developing musicians.
Alex is a music specialist in the Clark Public Schools where he teaches 1st-5th grade general music, two choirs, as well as 4th and 5th grade band.
Alex started the Summer Music and Arts Camp to give back to a community that has welcomed him with open arms, and he couldn’t be more excited to share his passion for music by providing a high-quality music and arts camp to students of all levels.

My name is Jessica Massa and I am eager to work with the Music and Arts Camp this July as a dance instructor. I was a competitive dancer through high school in various genres including tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, and lyrical. I have been teaching at Frank K. Hehnly for six years and I enjoy working with children. In addition, I teach competitive dance and create the choreography for Frank K. Hehnly's musical. I am eager to share my dance background with the students and have some fun moving to the music!

My name is Samantha Rendine and I am excited to be an art teacher in the Music and Arts Camp this July. I have been passionate about art since I was very little. I focused my attention on drawing and painting but have experimented with almost all mediums. I have won multiple awards for my paintings in high school and college including, Best in Show and Scholastic Art Awards. I attended Seton Hall University where I double majored in a dual elementary and special education program as well as studio art. I received my master’s degree in studio art at Kean University. I have four teaching certifications including early childhood education, elementary education, special education, and art teaching. I have been teaching kindergarten in the Cranford School District for six years. I am excited to help instill a love for art in the students this summer!
